Actually I am known as the 20 dollar girl in my house. See everything I buy seems to be on sale for 20 dollars so I am always telling my husband oh honey it was only 20 dollars....thing is he finally figured out one day.... and said to me...."Baby i realize that its only 20 dollars but every Halloween you end up buying like 30 things for 20 dolllars
which is in case you havent realized, 600 dollars honey"
I had to laugh. Didnt think he would catch on to that
I ofcourse do buy my items that are 100 and 200 dollars as well, but I have to say he is pretty good about it. I really dont spend that much money any other time of the year so my husband is really great about it. He never says a thing when I come home. Never. He doesnt even ask me how much things are. I guess I am very lucky. Ofcourse I think he doesnt say anything because he knows its a hopeless case, Im buying either way
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

My wife is extremely indulgent when it comes to art supplies, as long as I'm making it myself, but when it comes to ready-made I can only maybe squeeze one or two nice purchases in a year.

I never tell hubby anything! Things just pop up in the house. If he notices, he never says anything. When he sees me buying something, then he'll say something...."Do you really need that?", "It's HOW MUCH??" Gotta love him!
Whenever we have a yardsale, I do get rid of things I don't use anymore, so I get the clutter down some.

My wedding anniversary is Halloween, and my birthday is exactly one week later.
I can get whatever I want and say it is an anniversary/b-day present!
My Dh obviously loves Halloween to get married on that day, but even he has threatened to "rein me in" some years... which is when I nod, smile, and then go get what it was I was planning on getting anyway.
I mean, it could be an early Christmas present, right?
(It does help that I do not spend money throughout the year on stuff like manicures, clothes, purses and shoes and the like. I am freaking thrifty and don't buy a whole lot of stuff for myself... which means more Halloween for me!)I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

My Hubby is just the opposite. I'll see something that I'd really like to have and put it back cuz it's too expensive or I'd rather wait til it's on sale and he'll tell me if you want it just get it.

I learned last year to start shopping Nov 1st for this Halloween. This allowed me to pick up a lot of stuff on sale and spread the cost out over the whole year as opposed to just 2 months. Glad I did because things got really tight this year as of late and I wouldn't have been able to do 1/2 of what I did if I had waited.

No issue here. My birthday is in October and I consider everything I buy for Halloween a birthday present....course not having a DH/or BF probably has something to do with the no issue part of it. LOL
Hey, men are more expensive than Halloween. (sorry guys)Spectorized

My hubby is pretty good when it comes to me getting anything for Halloween. We actually get eachother Halloween gifts instead of Valentine's gifts (I know what I'm getting!!).
