My husband is okay with it. He says it's cheaper than having some designer purse/shoe habit, so go for it.

Need to add...

I used to legitimize my purchases, like the poster. Telling him how it was a bargain or I got it on sale. The excuses bothered him more than the purchase. It is probably the same with the poster's fella.

Mine too, Because if I wait it usually is not there when I finally go to get it, then I am even more upset.

I agree, I do that all year. Pick things up here and there. That way the cost doesnt hit me all at once.
