Thread: Last Years Haunt (2007)

Sorry if there is a thread for this, I looked but after about 7 "pages" my ADD kicked in and I gave up -
my break is only so long you know...

It was kind of a "Texas Chainsaw" theme - I made a hood out of leather scraps and chased the children around with a working (but chainless) chainsaw -
I love pulling yard duty, but this year I'm on door duty, which is alright, but not nearly as much fun...
we get about 600 trick-or-treaters!

Love love love love love your house! Great inspiration for your haunt, I'm sure. It's so hard to "Halloween-ify" a 1960's brick ranch!

I Love the whole thing(except the spider. I'm actually an arachnaphobiac!!)

The figurine up by the window has to be my favourite, which, judging of the last post, probably is the donna. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. I don't want to be oblivious to the USA terms! Especially as I am sure to be hearing so many of them!

By Donna, He's referring to a lifesized animated prop called "Donna the Dead." She's in the third picture, and was released as a new figure last year. You can look up various videos of her in action, including my own on youtube. Just type in "Donna the Dead" in the search bar. She's a great prop, and is definatly going to be out this year.

Anyways, I love your haunt! Where you put Donna is actually REALLY creative. She must have looked really chilling standing up there, gazing down on the visitors!

as Hidden said though, that is a chilling place to put her! it immediately caught my eye as creepy! Well done!

Excellent haunt! Love what you did with the figures (of course, especially the Donna!)

Have you thought about doing a PVC fence for that magnificent graveyard? A couple of columns? Not that you NEED that...but I think you'd really like the result!
