Not sure if anyone has thought of this thread before, but I thought it might be an idea to start this

Last year I bought a copy of Makezine's Halloween Special which had 42 DIY projects covering costumes, makeup, props, food etc, together with hints and tips for a successful haunt. Includes how to's for fog chiller, FCG, Trash Can Trauma amongst many others

Not sure if this is out of print, or still available, but well worth trying to get a copy - The ISBN is 74470 27736 1 74

OK - So far this is the only book I own, so I personally look forward to my fellow haunters recommendations

By the way, when I say this is the only book I own, I did mean halloween project book, and not the ONLY book I have
