After reading so many "how to" threads, I couldn't wait to start trying to make some of things I've seen on here. I have to say all of you are so creative and thanks for sharing your ideas.
So here is what I've been working on. I have made bones and fingers out of air dry clay, these will be part of my invitations. After reading about all the cool invites so many have used in the past, I couldn't decied on just one so I'm doing two seperate invites. Now I can't recall who's ideas where who's...but I liked the bone with the scroll paper invite, so Im doing some of those. Since no store around here has halloween decor out yet I had to make my own bones. And the fingers will be the severed fingers with a ransom note( I loved that one) I have to paint them all yet and assemble them.
I also tried to make the skeleton hand from the tutorial section, and well mine came out quite large LOL, I guess I got carried away. I still have to do the other hand.
And I'm almost done with my 6 foot Mummy, that Im naming Harold. I got the instructions from that Monster Page of Halloween ideas. Its been real easy to do, as I just started him yesterday and all I need to do now is attach his head. Now I'm not a perfectionist, so yes I know he is not purportined very well, but he will do!!
I'll post a pic of Harold when he is all done. Thanks to everyone for posting thier ideas on here, so non-creative people like myself can copy.
