Thread: Anyone decorating their house yet?

I started decorating my house for Halloween....mostly the kitchen ....hubby thinks I'm totally crazy...but, ah well, I totally dig Halloween and I don't see anything wrong with starting in July..lol!

I ALWAYS have Halloween stuff out - year round.

I have gargoyles on bookshelves, crows and skeletons in amongst the stuff on my entertainment center and our mantle has a collection of black cats (some antique-y stuff).

I tried to talk my Dh into letting me keep the 6 foot mummy out from our party, but I was shot down.

Well, if it was up to me...I would totally leave my decorations up 365days....lol! but, don't think hubby would go for that...lol

i have a few things out that i bought last weekend and my secret reaper stuff and i have no intentions of putting it away til halloween, so i guess i have started decorating

I set my house up year round in a Halloween theme... I am constantly adding and modifying so I can be the scariest house in town.

My wife aint quite that tolerant,however my basement has alot of skulls and such out year around.

We don't do the inside. Projects are out in the yard for brief periods year round.

My wife has been bugging me to put up the countdown sign already, but I can't be bothered to make a special trip to the storage shed just for it.

Wow, the shelves look great! Very well chosen decorations and placement, the colors are nice too!

Still too hot and summer-like here to put decorations out. :-p

I'm afraid if I put them out too early, I will start thinking they're looking a little shabby and will go out and buy replacements. Boy, I can't afford to do that.

The other issue is that I wouldn't be able to think/eat and breath anything but Halloween. I'm over board already. All me free time is now devoted to it and people are starting to look at me weird....AGAIN.

Thanks Johnny! this is just the beginning...I'm sure I'll fill up the rest of the shelves in no time...lol!
