Thanks,
There are only a few Jim Shore Halloween pieces I like....some of his stuff can be to ornate for my taste........I really like the Bethany Lowe products too..but don't have anything in her collection, maybe someday.. That's to bad about your retired piece....have you tried looking for another?? sometimes ebay has retired items...you may have luck finding one on there....
Please post your pics....whenever you can...would love to see them!

My first yardstake scarecrow goes out in a few weeks (more autumn decor for now) as I do a scarecrow maze in my sideyard, later on I add creepy mask's to them as they transform. Thats what I like about my creepy cornstalker maze I can start to decorate early and it just looks autumn for now but the changes come fast in sept.to more Halloweenish.

I've got a large shelf unit that I keep my Dept56 houses displayed on year round, as well as various other horror figures, or collectibles. We also have a few pieces of art prints hanging as well...with my favorite being a Basil Gogos signed print of Dracula. (He is the artist that would do the artwork for the cover of 'Famous Monsters of Filmland', and I was able to meet him a few years ago.) We also have a few other Halloween related items that we keep out just because as well...it helps that my wife actually doesn't mind..

i have a small collection of witches & related stuff - plus great candleholders that are halloween related but out all year round (I light candles most nights in the living room) . I would put my stuff up on the 1st october - but hubby makes me wait at least a week (though i start sneaking up the new stuff as I buy it

I like looking at Halloween stuff all the time, so I usually have older Halloween things on display around the work desk--record albums, vampire blood makeup, things like that, mostly from the 70's or older.
I found a package of Nik-L-Nip bottles at the discount store a while ago--some of you may remember these--they are the wax bottles filled with colored fruit liquids. I read somewhere that these recently got discontinued, and may become hard to find; I believe the product has been around for many decades! So, anyway, I have these little spooky things around the desk."WHAT'S out there?"
"I don't know.......it was little and brown, and low to the ground!"
