So, I don't know if you guys know about this or not, but as it gets closer to Halloween, Best Buy starts putting a TON of horror movies on sale for $3.99-5.99. I mean movies that are more modern ones or 1970s-1980s classics.
I have been checking nearly every week to find out when they're going to start it up again and it doesn't seem to be rolling yet, but we should all keep an eye out for it! I bought them online and did "in store pickup" then I just went to the service desk and they had my movies waiting for me!
I racked up on horror movies the last two years! So help me keep and eye out, will ya?

I can help. I watch B.Buy and C.City too looking for horror flicks all the time. If I find them on sale, I'll post them here.

OH! That's a great idea. Let's post up ones we see each week! You can usually find good ones at half.com as well, but I prefer BestBuy because I can go pick them up and save on shipping!

Great, we'll all keep a lookout. I'm looking for old Dracula movies. Black and white if possible.

Be sure and keep an eye out at the 99 Cent Store too. I think the last few seasons they have had some really great classic horror DVDs for 99 cents (appropriately enough).

I have checked amazon actually but you still have to pay the $3.99 shipping to get a used item from someone. The BestBuy DVDs are ones you can buy online and not pay shipping because you can get them in-store pickup. That way unless the movie on Amazon is more than $1, it's still cheaper to get it on BestBuy.
Like I said though...there are some really cheap ones on half.com...but there's still the shipping issue (unless you can get a bunch from one person, which I never seem to be able to do).
What movies did you guys find this week at Best Buy? any good ones?
I'm getting to the point where I need to make a list so I don't buy duplicates.

Not sure if it's on sale or not, but Best Buy has Kill Klowns From Outer Space for $5.99.
I also found a bunch on Half.com for pretty cheap...with shipping for like $6-7. I don't like to pay shipping (always do the in-store pickup from Best Buy).
Anyways...that's all I found this week.
I hope they start putting a bunch out soon!

...and so it has begun.
They seem to have lowered their prices on a bunch of movies and they put a bunch on sale this week. I'm not going to designate which is which (which is on sale and which is a lowered price) because it's too complicated. So if you're interested in a movie...go check it out soon because the price might go up this weekend.
Here goes (not that I like/dislike these):
Devil's Rejects $7
The Descent $7
Dawn of the Dead (orig) $7
Halloween (restored orig) $7
Halloween II $7
Halloween 4 $7
Halloween 5 $7
Idle Hands $4.19 (really a black comedy)
Road Warrior (not really horror) $5
Prom Night (orig) $7
Friday the 13th 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, final (not sure about 1 or 4, may have missed it) $7
Creepshow $7
Sleepaway Camp $5
Cabin Fever $7
Urban Legends: Final Cut $7
Puppet Masters $7
Altered States $6
The Hollow $7
Howling 3, 4 $7
Night of the Living Dead (orig) $5 (plus you can get it boxed w/ another classic for around the same price)
The Ring $7
Soul Survivors $6
My Bloody Valentine/April Fools Day combo $7
Satan's Little Helper $6
House on Haunted Hill/The Last Man on Earth $5 (highly recommended)
CHUD $7
Pulse $7
Nosferatu $7
Lost Souls $7
There's about 900 movies that are horror and under $6.99. So check it out.
I usually do in-store pickup to save on shipping.
Whew...done.

I just picked up Killer Klowns from Outer Space at Big Lots for $3 (that's less than Best Buy). We also got the original Amityville Horror for $3 too.
We picked up Secret Window for $5 at Wal-Mart too (the dump bins).
We're using them for give-aways for one of our party games.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002
