I think I have a theme for my kitchen/dining room. We will be having a party and decorating the LR, kitchen & dining room which is one long room really. Remember the scene from Pirates of the Caribbean (part 2 I think) where they all end up at that cajun womens place way down in the swampy bayou? Thats what I want! It was all dimly lit with candles and lanterns hanging everywhere, there were lots of bottles with God knows what in them and I think a net hanging from the ceiling....
More ideas anyone? Maybe I should rent the movie...yet again....![]()

There's a few threads already posted about just that same thing. Take a look here and in the Props section I believe.
Look for "Tia Dalma." (That's her name)

Those are the three threads I thought of right away, but I'm sure there's more. The PVC candle tut would be great I'd think.

Thanks for the links! I had just done a search and found a few posts on it. These are gonna be very helpful...Just a side note: I got so excited about the whole prospect I damn near made myself sick for a minute there! Does anyone else do that? Just seems ridiculous in retrospect.

I got a little nauseous last night when I realized I hadn't started anything for this year!
I'm still in a 'battle' with my wife on how much time/money I should be spending on all my projects - so much to do, so little time has never rung so true!

I understand...when the counter on here got under 100 I panicked!
The nausea I get is worse than when I was a kid and got all worked up over the rides at the amusement parks. Its a happy/OMG!/ Im gonna puke! type thing.
