So we all love those after halloween sales. Most of the time I don't have hardley any money to spend. So this year I think I'll save up an extra two pay checks so I can hit the stores right after Halloween. This will be good because walmart will put there mask on sale for an even cheaper price-which means more things to do with bluckys.)

I save up for before and after Halloween. My birthday is in October so I consider it my birthday present to myself. Then again I celebrate the whole month, not just my birthday...so it's my birthmonth and I buy my own presents. (Comes from being alone...If I don't treat myself, no one will)

My anniversary IS Halloween, and my birthday is exactly 7 days after, so I use both of those as excuses for getting LOTS of Halloween stuff in the clearances.
I've been trying to explain to Dh that if he'd only get me Halloween stuff for my birthday and Christmas (in the after Halloween markdowns) he'd save so much money, and I'd be much happier!

Hubby and I began buying for this Halloween last year and have been buying throughout the year, a little here, a little there. Our hope is that when Oct rolls around, we'll have basically all we need and want so we won't go broke that month. This way, when the after Halloween sales go on, we can afford to scoop up the deals

Well, that's the plan anyway

Same here Cassie, I also been buying all through the year, sure keeps you in a Halloween frame of mind! We have all the supplies for most of the projects we are working on just gonna need some more PVC pipe & I'm afraid of what its going to cost to get those red drapes cleaned & pleated! Ouch!

Good idea. I will TRY to do this this year. All though I have to get quite a few things. But I usually try and use what I have, so maybe, I will have some money for after Halloween!
Can you stake my heart?

As much as I love Halloween, a friend of mine(which technically was a friend of my fiances, until we met, and partied together, so I now think it's acceptable to call us friends), tends to throw Halloween parties with her sister annually(her one year, and her sis the next year, etc.........it's their tradition{which sucks for me, as I LOVE throwing parties!}), I love to buy Halloween items whenever I can, which this year isn't really an option, as I am out of work....
though for next year, and there forward, I plan to be a keen prop-eteer! With the help of you forum-folk!
though when I have bought, I tend to buy off the internet. That's probably the wisest option for us over in England, as Halloween isn't really public here, very unfortunately! So us Halloween fans have to suffer, and make do with crappy props
