i thought I would start a thread on things you guys have seen on ebay that are just WAY over priced. I found this one. If I take a coupon to michale's I can get it for about $40

Wow, incredible high prices!. I bet some people will be tempted to buy it though. Reinforces the idea that you really have to do your homework for what you see on Ebay. I've bought some super cheap things on Ebay but that's after knowing what it should cost and how much it would cost to make it myself.
Witch, I am almost finished my skeleton bride, very similair to their $299.99 bride....with nothing remaining to buy for it I spent $40 max (includes a full length long sleeve wedding dress and veil off Ebay for $19.99). $299.99???? I am in the wrong business! ha

Or some of these jokers that have something for sale for a couple hundred + 25. for shipping & another post selling the same thing"buy it now" for like $2.50...... & then shipping for $200. Uh like ebay was SUPPOSED to start cracking down on ridiculous shipping price listings..........The funny thing is the idiots that woud buy it. I guess i can understand some that are out of usa & have a hard time getting companies to sell & ship to them,but these guys are praying on complete idiots. specially the ones that list,one of a kind or EXTREMELY RARE & ya see it listed with a dozen of the co we know for 10 times less........

Maybe i should part with a few of my very rare , priceless,collectable one-of-a-kind,unlike any you will ever see or find anywhere,will never see again,investment for top dollar resale, & will only triple in value PET ROCKS.......a steal at a meesly $100. per & shipping $150. if you buy more than one,combined price doubles, & if you act now i'll throw in some dirt !!!!!

hmmm...perhaps if they are hallowen pet rocks. lol

I think i do recall reading something that you can get absurd shipping costs refunded by ebay but obviously I would check into that before leveraging it

Now Pet Rocks is something to get into a bidding war over! ha. Dark Lord, I agree with you that unfortunetly some people will buy it....hmmmm, They may be the same ones who got rich by answering that email from the rich Nigerian Prince who only needed their bank account info so he could transfer his millions into their bank accounts.

I am Happy to say that I would not even consider buying anything on Ebay - whenever I have seen anything it's either over priced or the cost of delivery of the item makes it not worth the money.

Most of what I have seen isn't worth much anyways. Rather buy it fro0m goodwill at their extortionate prices .. lol
