Hello Haunters, I was finishing up one of my new props last night and pulled out some stuff I seem to use all the time for final adjustments. Mine always seems to be ....
1) flat black spray paint of course
2) some 12lb clear fishing line to wrap or tie things down (thin strong line that is invisible when sprayed flat black)
3) some white medical tape (does not shine, has texture and holds paint to blend in and disappear)
I became curious to what others always fall back to or could not do without in making our props and figured it would be interesting to pose the question to the forum and see what you keep in your back pocket!
101 days to go and too much on the list to make!

I always make sure I have a rattle can of High Heat spray paint from the auto parts store -
I use it to dim flood lights that are too bright!- Brad

I could never do without those plentiful little green rectangular pieces of paper that has numbers on the corners of it. Without that...every Halloween would fall apart! lol
Seriously though, probably flat black spray paint, batteries and light bulbs. styrofoam and pvc...

Hmmm. Most of the above, plus duct tape, Liquid Nails adhesive, cheap acrylic craft paint, cordless screwdriver/drill.
And those green pieces of paper with numbers DO come in handy!!!Gothikim

Xacto knife
Wood glue
twine (good for holding stuff together while drying and for props themselves)
metal ruler (for use with the xacto knife)
artist's cutting board (3 foot x 2 foot board with good surface for cutting, painting or doing sculpting - comes with metal square edges to line up a T-square also)
PAINT
A whole lot of creativity... I did the last two years with no power tools except for a drill... and it was HARD.

Black spray paint and not really a supply for props, but when all else fails play the theme from Halloween, love that music.
Purely and simply evil
