I dug out the skellys today! This pile will be "corpsified".

I got these at a yard sale a few years ago. I never did anything with them. They needed a bath something terrible! They look like the previous owner tried a pre-historic corpsing on them using just paint and dirt. Not sure what Im going to do with these guys once theyre cleaned up....

It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween!

Oddly enough, that DOES excite me slightly more than it should. I have been inspired to get my butt out in the yard with my skill saw and nail gun. Thank you for that.

Yeah, me too... And it makes me think that I might need some Bluckies.

Question: how many folks feel comfortable enough to leave Buckies (note I said Buckies, not Bluckies) outside in your scenes? I'd like to think that no one would steal anything, but if I've got seven or eight Buckies out there, that's some serious temptation (not to mention the replacement costs!).

Your welcome. I have a Halloween prop that is a huge chandelier with skulls underneath the sconces that I just love. If I need inspiration I just take a look at that thing and Im ready to work! I think this year it will hang over the food table and Im going to add some moss to it for creepyness.
    Now get back to work!

We've never had that problem, in town or where we are now but I wouldnt risk it with the buckies. Maybe you could do a test run with a bluckie and see what happens?

I don't think the local kids'd mess with the Bluckies... Knock on wood, they haven't messed with anything since we've been here (two years). Maybe I'll put the Bluckies out until "the Big Night." I can always put a padlock on the outhouse door!

It's just that the Bluckies look sooooo fake!

well if I got a few foam pumpkins stolen, chances are people would steel some nice buckies.
