Hey so I went to see the new batman flick this morning and I was thinking. It's such a dark movie and you can go so many ways with it. Anyway, I was thinking that I would base my 2008 theme Halloween Knight in Gothem City.

I would like to make some easy skyscraper bulidings as a back drop, and then just decorate with Halloween stuff around. I'd like to maybe build them 3-D that way for some of the windows, I can add green lights so it looks like there lit.

Any feedback/ideas is more then welcome. Thanks guys!
halloween is a super cool holiday.

Hmmmm, sounds pretty cool! I wish I had the energy to do an annual theme!

So, I don't know if you go with animated or static props, but if you do mostly static, the obvious choice is to do a wicked PVC Joker prop to add more of a Batman theme. I haven't seen the movie yet, but it might be cool to also do a dark version of Batman too. An evil Batman! That'd be a cool prop!

might be a LOT easier to do then you think...you could get lots of swag from the stores when the movie has run it's course, and usually for free if you volunteer to cart it away..the year that Burger King backed the Universal monsters I walked away with window stickers and all sorts of keen stuff. The same with the video store when they were pushing Dracula on DVD...the black and white Dracula cut out in the costume shop cost 20 bucks..this one was color and free..all I had to do was cut away the DVD he was holding..simple...

Hmm thanks for the feedback and ideas. Here's what I have that's a diffent for sure if I decide to go with this plan.

    * A big garage backdrop of the Batman logo but he'll be over the moon.
*Me or someone else dressed up as the Joker.
*The Joker will be terrorizing the city and maybe the Batman.
*If I get my artsy sister to make large verstions of evil Jocker Cards I may use them either some kind of fencing or a photo thing where you let the people stick there head in the hole so they can take a pic.
*A grave yard of all the people the Joker has terrorized.
halloween is a super cool holiday.
