i have been thinking about changing the way i light up my cemetery with the 80w spot lights and the old shack which is going to be part of my walk through.

was at walmart and they had a 2 pack set of malibu spots (flag spots) plus power pack for $25. tried it out and pretty bright with the clear bulbs

going to try the red and blue bulbs tomorrow night

If you can, post up some pics of the different color bulbs. I have Malibu lights along my driveway and walkway. I'd love to creepy them up a bit. Where did you get the colored bulbs? I wasgoing to use celephane, but I'm sure it would melt.

Depends on which design you have. Are they the spot ones or the accents?
If its the accents then the bulb wattage shouldn't be very high, and cellophane should work.

I have both actually. The spot is on my flag, and the rest are accent. I believe they are 11 watt. I would love to use colored ones instead, though. Much more durable.

Home Depot carries a large assortment of colors for the accent lights. I think mine are 4 watt , I've got red, green and orange.

What are Malibu Lights? I looked on the Wally World Canada site, but can't find them.

    Money's never an object

Aelwyn: Malibu is a brand of low voltage lights. You usuall get a power pack, some wire and a number of lights in a box. Simple to install. All you do is connect the wire to the power supply, lay out where to run the wire and place the lights. The connection is made by squeezing two clips together around the wire, and little teeth puncture through the insulation. Could not be easier. Your Home Depot or Lowes should have them.

I have used them for years.Easy to use and set up.plus you can move them around if needed.I use them in backyard graveyard for just enuff light to cause a glow on tombstones.Up front I use the normal walkway lites with skulls over them,at nite the skulls lite up the garden edge.I think I have red and green bulbs along with the clear.Watch for clerance on them towards end of season.
