My Husband has always 'humored' me about Halloween. His family has been into it and he came into my doing it with out kicking & screaming.
I brought up to him my idea for the FCG that I am finally gettng done this year (With Puglsys help) I have realizde best place to put it is in my Daughters walk in closet.
When I told him I needed an idea for a 'stand' to hang the rig - his idea was more permananat, to hang to from the ceiling.
Just another reason for me to Love the Guy!

Man cannot live on bread alone.... (unless he is in a cage and that is all you feed him.)

Good for you! My Hubby humors me too, but start talking about needing something built with power tools and he gets interested.

My husband rolls his eyes at me but then I hear him on the phone inviting people over to see "the wife's awesome decorations".
My kids have the mental health institute on speed dial
but for the most part, I'm left alone to do my thing.

After Halloween last year my wife got very excited about how to expand the yard haunt. We hit the sales and got a lot of new stuff that she wants to use. She's even going to do the voices for the little dead girl in the rocker and the arguing witches. For those who are frustrated by an indifferent spouse, just give 'em time - they'll see the light (or is it the "Dark"?).
I...have many names...

Rookie, that's pretty much what I get from the husband but it's that very lack of attentiveness that allows me to sneak in Halloween purchases all year long without being caught.
After 21 years of marriage I think he goes on auto pilot whenever he hears my voice.
