So people are still making fun of me for making a mistake on the 2008 Sightings post (tittled: Sightings 2009) so I was thinking since I don't really have a theme set or any real idea at that, I would put a futer/modern robotic monster twist on Halloween this year. I just don't have any real good ideas.
The only things I'v been able to come up with so far are

    1. Useing The Twlight Zone theme song
    2. Mean neon lights
    3. Pumpkin robots

Any ideas and thoughts would be sweet to here and is well appricated.

halloween is a super cool holiday.

If you use the theme "Nightmares” then you have the most latitude, as anything can be anyone’s nightmare. Always works well with eclectic haunts.

I'd go watch some old sci-fi movies for inspiration. A lot of them were about robots turning on their creators and trying to take over the world.

Well... before I clicked on this thread, I started conjuring up ideas for a "turn of the century" theme, which I think could be a doable theme. I was thinking more along the lines of aging instead of futuristic robots and such.

Really what I was thinking was like each room (I don't know if this is a party or haunt) was a different celebration of New Years -- so one room would be a 1928 New Years party right before the ball drops, another is 1775 -- or whatever. I was just thinking of significant years following that particular New Years Eve. You can creap it out or whatnot.... I don't know... but if it were a party, your guests just need to dress New Years appropriate for whatever year they want...

BUT, I don't think you're talking about a party, so in that case... I have no ideas.

See a graveyard and there are new years eve party hats left littering the graves as the old ghosts went back into the moldy earth after a night of partying.
"What's that?" The living human bends down for a closer look...the party favor quickly un-curls as it's paper bladder is filled from underground!
    Pure Terror Then!

Yea It's for a party but it's also just for the season. I don't think Robots are too much like Halloween so the ageing thing is a pretty neat idea.
