Hey! I was in the Bryant-Irvin store this morning! I agree, it looks like it will be a good year. I was kinda disappointed in the Spooky Town display but the rest of the decor looks great, especially the life-size skeletons and hanging zombies. No Gemmys yet. Should be soon...

We don't have a Garden Ridge out here, but I here it's the pretty much the same thing as michaels. Can you order off-line from them?
halloween is a super cool holiday.

Garden Ridge is kind of similar to Michael's in that they carry a lot of craft supplies. But GR is about 3-4 times the size of Michael's and stocks a lot more non-craft type merchandise and outdoor items.
It's a great place to pick up after-Halloween bargains, too.
My favorite area of our Garden Ridge is a small room where they put damaged and returned stuff and mark it WAY down. Most of the stuff just has minor damage or a missing/broken light bulb. I even bought a spooky town "Monster's Ball" item that was mainly just missing the power adapter.
I don't know if they sell on-line or not. I don't think they do.

Wow that's sounds like a great place. I wish Michaels was like that. I goggled the web site and just not my luck, they don't have on-line ordering. :-( But on the bright side they have a really nice looking add that you all can check out. :-)

Yeah GR is much much nicer than Michaels (not a big M fan here) and carries a full line of inflatables all blown up and on display (very huge store), also GR has the largest display of full size animated Gemmy collection. Ours in Cinn. carried about 10 different full size animated props. GR's Halloween selection is large and one of the best next to the superstores (spirit,H express, etc.). Too bad they don't have an online store, but I'll post some pics I took last year and you'll get the idea. GR is about the size of a super Walmart,.....no kidding !
