Ok this is a thought I just came up with, and it is now do it, or don't do it.
I was thinking of buying one of those shower of sparks that whistle and maybe give report, for Halloween. I am already buying lots of smokebombs and firecrackers for my western scene, (it will be outside). As for the shower of sparks this will be my kickoff or the ribbon cutting ceremony for the start of the haunted house. Any one know a real good shower of sparks I could buy. What do you all think... good, bad, or ugly and scrap the idea. I dont think I will get into too much trouble the chainsaws and the screaming is louder than any firework show could muster.

Why just yesterday I was at my local TNT fireworks store and saw they had a new item, it was a Jack-o-Lattern fountain of sparks......very cool looking and almost got it but I was over budget already. Check it out on line at....TNT Fireworks - America's Choice for Fundraising. They were $14.99 and 2 for 1. Cool looking pumpkin I may go back for it. I think you have a good ideal for your kick-off. I might do the same for added excitement and to keep the crowds around a bit longer.

scorpio....its a cool idea, just make sure though if using the shower of sparks near ur dispaly that u take the proper precautions not to set anything a blaze by the sparks. Meaning some stuff a lot of us use in making our displays can easily ignite from a hot spark. Just be safe doing it.

I was just saying last night how cool it would be to do Halloween fireworks. I want to find purple, orange, and green fireworks and just have a big show some time during the party.
Bozz, I couldn't find the Jack-o-lantern one. What section is it under?

Its a brand new item and they only had a few out but it may not be listed yet, I may call them and get the name so we can look it up. It was a cool looking Pumpkin and nice size with muti-shot. If I buy them I'll take some pics and post them here.

scare shack I think I will be using "Da Bomb" as my kickoff fireworks it is not a shower of sparks as before mentioned. It shoots up in the air and makes a loud "BOOM" I will light this actually in the street and behind the line. As for the smoke bombs and firecrackers I will have emty #10 cans in the western scene that the cowboys will throw the fireworks into.

No problem, our TNT store is only 20 mins from my house so I just ran up and took a pic (they are still buy one get one free for $ 15.99). I still want to get a couple just ran out of cash. May use one for our 3-D movie night we do in the garage in Oct., have some fireworks after the movie would be cool. Now on the big night I think they would draw some nice crowds to the house and the kids would love it !
