I went to my local Hobby Lobby today and they had garden statues 60% OFF!!

Got all this for $43.20 the highest priced one was $14.00 and it's like 2 foot tall. My tombstones are going to rock!!!

They had a ton of different ones. Going back tomorrow for some other ones.

Are you going to leave them as is? Just attach them to a grave marker or crypt?

Those are so nice, wish we had a hobby lobby.

    Congrats on the great score!

I plan on aging them. I have several ideas for them. I've never made a tombstone before...I've made a large stone slab but nothing with detail like a tombstone. I hope I can pull it off.

What a great find, voodoo willy! I found an angel one year on clearance and I molded Sculpty clay into horns and a tail for her and painted her with stone paint. She was my pride and joy on a pedestal in the cemetery. One year I was putting her away and I dropped and shattered her. I was heartbroken. I picked up her pieces and put her away. The next year, I put up her pedestal and scattered her pieces around like some vandals had broken her. It was a perfect addition to the cemetery.

It's hard to see her in the picture scattered under the pedestal, but visitors to the cemetary always pause when they see her.

I am green with envy....wish we had Hobby Lobby's around here. Have fun with your tombstones. I am sure that with all the tutoritals and different techniques you will create some wonderful tombstones....and you've got some pretty awesome accessories there....
Great deals - hope they have more for you !
