Went by Michael's today and saw all the fall colors and fall decorations starting to be put out. This started to get me excited and then I started walking towards the isle that has the Halloween decorations and they had the Halloween Isle poster/marque up!!! No decorations yet but that will be right around the corner! Just thought I would sharre my excitement with the rest of you who I know will enjoy it as well.

I know, the anticipation is killing me - most places aren't qute there yet, but you can see them making room. Even our Menards has started placing some small inflatables on their second floor display area.

I've noticed stuff coming out too. It's JUNE. I love Halloween so much I really don't mind, but it's just bizzare.

Well...I too have to admit that I'm starting to get Halloween on the brain.

Yesterday, here in the south (TN) it was very breezy and a bit cool. I felt energized all dang day. I stayed home from work (worked at home) and sat out in our sunroom so I could enjoy the breezy day.

It totally reminded me of the fall to come, which made me think of all my fellow Halloweiners. I miss Hooch.

I can't wait for this year. I'm back in a house and loving life. It's going to be the best Halloween ever, albeit with no TOTers (don't get any where I live).

There are no Hobby Lobbies around here (sounds like a cool store, though), and I haven't YET encountered any of the evil early X-Mas merchandise. Why oh why can't they at least hold off untill November 1st? X-Mas scares me terribly... at least when it creeps up on Halloween's territory.

It used to irritate me when stores would put out stuff for holidays at times I felt too early. Like one time a local store had valentines stuff out just after Christmas and before New Years. But I don't mind it anymore. Now I look at it like once the excitement from one holiday wears off after it's over you can get pumped for the next one especially for Halloween. Autumn is my favorite season. So even though we are just beginning July and and Summer is just peaking I do like to see the signs of the approaching Fall season. I actually get excited about holidays earlier and earlier each year it seems.

I really need to get out to the stores and see what they have, even if it's the smallest amount. All I have at home to look at are two ceramic pumpkins and the spiderweb stuff that I have yet to use since I bought it in 06.
