Not sure if anyone on here has posted anything about this, but...

Dare 2 Direct Short film contest...I am sure there are plenty of talented haunters out there who can not only build a great haunted house, but can make a pretty freaking scary movie about one...

I really want to do this, only problem is my lack of camera equipment and actors...I have a great idea for a scary movie though...

3 "Splat"egories to win $5000 in cash!! What better incentive??

1) Best Picture
2) Creepiest Character
3) Best Costume/Makeup

I think most of us have a huge advantage in Creepiest Character or Best Costume and Makeup!!!

OK, got the crew together and now we are tossing ideas around. Anone want to throw thier story into the hat? If we use your idea, I'll make sure your name is in the credits.

I assure you this won't be a cheesy film, it will be top-notch for the amount of time we have to work with.

Show me what you've got. Remember, this is a short...3-6 min long.

pretty sweet. I watch chiller on 199 everyday so I see the adds. I don't have time this year but after christmas, I plan on getting a new camera so maybe I'll start making it then.

It has to be 3-6 minutes right? Oh how long did it take to make yours? It was good.

Thanks. Yeah, it has to be between 3-6min. We shot for 2 days and edited for 3. Had to wait for the license release to use the amazing grace song. The actual movie raun 6:18 sec. long, so I opted to go the trailer route instead.

We'll see what happens next.
