Thread: Anyone else excited?

Guys, it's almost July, which means its almost August which means its almost September which (for me) is officially the beginning of the Halloween season. I can't wait! I'm so hopeful and excited for this year. Is anyone else as stoked as I am? I feel like I look more forward to Halloween then Christmas. When does everyone here start putting their decorations out?

67 days to Autumn
97 days to October
127 days to Hallowe'en

I am alternately excited and panic-ed , because of all the things I want to do yet, But, yeah, I am mostly excited. Cabn't wait to see if they have anything new in the stores!

excited! and this forum has done it's charm on me, i have a lot of new stuff to try. i won't be starting until Oct. 1st to decor though. bethie, i always love seeing new stuff out each year. from some members it sounds like some stores have already started putting their stuff out. not that lucky around here. maybe the last part of aug. sept. for sure before they put out the treasures.

This will be my 1st go all out Halloween if that even happens. (who know's?)
I guess I'll be hitting the stores more, hopeing to get more neat stuff.
It's an exciting time! As far as looking forward, Halloweens just more relaxed and it's a good change for a holiday. I like it more than christmas. It's okay to go a little crazy. But then I fall is also my fav. season. It some how ties into place.

i get too excited and usually start getting my stuff out in august. if not to put up, then to just organize and look at until it's the right time. last year after halloween, i bought lots of stuff real cheap and i'm sure i've forgot about most of it, so it will be a real surprise to get everything out again.

kallie, i know what you mean, i buy lots of stuff right after halloween and then pack it away. the next year i love the surprise of pulling the stuff out and seeing alot i forgot about.

I'm so happy Halloween falls on a Friday this year! I usually start decorating with a fall theme September 1st and gradually add Halloween throughout that month - with a final explosion on October 1st.

I torture myself and make myself wait til Oct. 1st. Then it's rush, rush, rush so I can enjoy it the rest of the month. Then rush again Halloween day to set up the garage.
