Anyone interested in starting a phone list?
I have another group that I am in, and when we get in a pinch, I am able to call upon another member for help. Sometimes this is very helpful to speak directly to a person, VS an email or PM.
Just name and phone number is all we would need to post.

Not a bad idea GP, but I'm a little leery of posting my number on a public forum. I imagine some of the ladies here along with their significant others might not be thrilled with the idea as well. But of course, they can simply opt out.
Although I'm always willing to help you all if I can and trust all of you, I'll stick to PMs and emails and would be happy to send people my cell phone number privately through those methods if someone would like to speak live. I'm okay with someone calling me, but I won't post my number publicly since we have hundreds of visitors each day and who knows who those people are.

I would not advise posting your number in public. There is Private Messages, Live Chat, Forum posts and other methods on this forum that can be used to contact each other.
I certainly trust our members, but we have millions of viewers anually of the site. Once you post your number, it will be on the net forever.HalloweenForum.com Admin

I went back and looked at how we did it on the other website (not halloween related). It was taken from the option to include phone number when we created account. From there a list was created of all members info. Only members could access the phone list and download.
Sometimes it is always good to get feedback to keep you grounded.

I can appreciate the thought behind this, but someone could set up an ID, make 1 post, and have access to this information. Again, I'd be happy to take a call from anyone that wanted my opinion or help on anything. I just don't want to post my number publicly.

It's too bad we live in a world where you have to be so cautious, but I guess them's the facts. I have to say I wouldn't list my number either, but I would pm it a few friends I've met on here.
