I want to wish everyone a Happy Friday the 13th! It is as close to a Halloween based day in June as we can have! And yes - I did got to work today! See this information below and the linnk where I found this tidbit of myth and doom.

The sixth day of the week and the number 13 both have foreboding reputations said to date from ancient times, so their inevitable conjunction from one to three times a year portends more misfortune than some credulous minds can bear. Some people won't go to work on Friday the 13th; some won't eat in restaurants; many wouldn't think of setting a wedding on the date.

Hey JB, you have a great Friday the 13th as well. I usually plan something special on Friday the 13th but this one almost caught me by surprise! I think some spooky movies may be in order this evening.

The weather is cooperating this Friday the 13th here in northwest Ohio: Strong thunderstorms may produce large hail and strong winds.

Hey Cad, sounds like it will be a perfect night in Ohio to curl up and watch scary movies...unless of course you lose electricity during the storm. Have a good one!

I love Friday the 13th's!!! I'm not superstitious and it makes me laugh when those that are get freaked out. 13 has always been my favorite number. I was born on the 13th (Jan.) and my sports number was always 13.

I work tonight so can't do any celebrating. I'll have to make up for it this weekend!
