Hey all,
It's about that time of the year when we start looking out for Halloween merch. I know it's still June but I'm starting to see things on the web that are getting mark downs and in thrift stores. If you see any sightings for 2009 this is where you should post for all to see.
Ghoul eyes are the best eyes.
I picked up two angle statues from Wal-Mart for only $5.89 each. They will sit perfect on pilliars.
I picked up an old glass pumpkin candle holder. Not sure if it's vintage or not but I liked it.

It is 08 still, right?
It's that time of year people clean out the garage. I've seen lots of stuff out at garage sales, but none that was to my taste.

I recently discovered Value Village. They tag their merck with color stickers, depending on how long they have been on the shelves. Every Monday a given color is only 99 cents.
I've gone two Mondays in a row and have picked up tons of pirate type stuff. Bottles, lanterns, etc.

Halloweenrocks is from the future. Didn't you know? Owns a 85 Delorean. Been seeing commercials all over. My computer crashed the other day and took most of my halloween pics with it. NO BACKUP!

My area is recovering from a huge flood and a bridal store was one of the victims. I scored a wedding dress and a 6 foot mannequin with posable arms/head....he's really creepy too!
I'm trying my best to get more dresses to share with the group but they are arresting people who are taking the garbage. It's a shame they would rather clog the landfills with mountains of debris rather than let people try to put things to use in other ways

You should tell the store owner about us, they might let you do a group buy. And already weathered to boot!
