Alright. I jumped in and started my FCG head this weekend. I did a couple of different battery mounts. I started with a 2 AA battery holder glued to the back of the head. I wired the LED lights with a switch to turn on or off the lights. I thought the 2 AA battery mount, with batteries installed was a bit heavy, so I pried it back off and went with a 9V battery terminal. I didn't want to let the battery dangle, so I cut a hole in the head and slid the battery in it...ouch!!!
I'm ready for the cheesecloth now...still gotta wash it to blue it, but reading through the instructions i've found on various websites, I have a question.
From what I've read, I should drape the head in cheesecloth. Now do I drape the whole head, face included and then pull the cloth in tight to the back of the head? Should I cover the eyes with the cloth and then cut the eyes open for the LED's to show, or do I let the LED's stay behind the cheesecloth?
I've been using the instructions from here:

Flying Crank Ghost
Any help would be appreciated.

You can just pull the cheescloth tight across the face. No need to worry about cutting the cheese cloth for the LED's to shine through. You will have a small ball of excess cheesecloth left over on the back of the head, which won't hurt anything.

A couple of others have sprayed the head with spray adhesive so that the cloth will take the shape of the face. I would defiantly keep the cloth over the eyes. It will help diffuse the light so they don't look so much like LED's.
I love that head, CMG.....very creepy already.
