So I am in the process of moving, and as I was moving some of my creatures today this thought struck me. I wonder if Gemmy is planning on doing a lifesize pinhead to add to the collection. Between him and Micheal Myers that could round out thier lineup for the next couple of seasons.

We’ve been hoping for the past two years that Gemmy would do a Pinhead 6 foot animated figure. We have been itching to add a Hellraiser scene to our haunt. In my opinion, Gemmy did a great job with their Leatherface and Jason figures (as far as realism) but not so good with Freddy. I’d love to see a Pinhead with a slow backlight (like he’s coming out of the wall) and the famous phrase, “You called, we came.” I think that Gemmy will probably not do Pinhead until the release of the Hellraiser remake, which I read is scheduled for 2009. I think we’ll see Michael Myers only this year (which corresponds with the Halloween remake at the end of last year). I’m not sure kids would even know Pinhead until the movie remake comes out. But, once a good, scary Pinhead animatronic is available, we’ll be all over it!

Well, I have the three they have done so far. Freddy looks good but was cheeply made, as his arm broke off real quick. As long as they keep making cool characters I suppose we will keep buying them. Although I have spent more money on storage sheds than I want to think about.

They're remaking Hellraiser!?!? I hate when they do remakes. I sort of liked Halloween, but still love the original.

Cut a deal with the local grade school, put your critters in a room in the school, then when a brat screws-up, they threaten to lock him in with them!
(Of course they never actually do lock anyone in, this would be cruel and unusual treatment..for your critters!)
I tell people when they bring younger kids to my haunted house,"Some people bring their children or geandchildren here for discplinery reasons! "You be good or we will take you BACK THERE!"
The threat can be a tool.

Yeah I heard that too. Some friend told me there is so much remakes because of the scenarist's strike in Hollywood. But I agree Bundy that it is becoming REALLY annoying. Well let's see...

The motion picture industry is really pretty "young". Imagine being alive just 100 years from now when you can choose between probably 75 versions of every money-making movie ever made!
Pick the year, the actors, the studio ... hahahaha!
I mean, what is there to stop this from happening?
Video on computer got easier and cheaper , maybe my guess of 75 is way low once grade school kids start making remakes for a class assignment.
