haunted dog, those are awesome. how big is that house? i take it even the tombstones he did out of wood?

I don't think the tombstones were done out of wood. I didn't get close, it was fairly early in the morning and I didn't know if they'd like me traipsing around on the grounds. I'm HORRIBLE with distances and measurements, but I would guess that the house was maybe around 15ft tall.

Yeah, I bet they do! They had some HUGE tree trunks there, just waiting to be carved. I suspect they're getting them from all the dead trees from the pine bark beetles. But at least they're being put to good use!

Default Idyllwild Wood Carver

The carver's name is David Roy. He is currently working on the new Totem for the center of Town (the old one was destroyed by woodpeckers ).
David has offered us the house facade and other items to use in Idyllwild's Haunted Ghost Town, across the street. Unfortunetly we can not find a way to
move them.

Awesome carvings. I remember seeing that place last time I was in Idyllwild. I'll be there again in November and I'll have to stop in.

Cool! Thanks for the links. They've really added a lot to the display in the last year or so. VERY impressive!
