HELLO EVERYONE!

Last night I had my first halloween dream of 08. I was working with a friend in the dream, when we passed a store that had h'ween merchandise out already. i begged and pleaded to take a break and look. the friend and other workers finally agreed. i was even looking for clown stuff in the dream as that is what me and the wife have decided for this year. So i figured that if i'm having those dreams and theres only about 4 months left for work i better get started!!!

What have i missed? Please point me to some good threads if anyone has made some cool props and whatnot!

Welcome back Batfly... only 4 months left...getting a late start are we?! lol. Been some good threads lately, but don't know exactly what you got already. Seems to be a lot of talk about 3 axis skulls, coffin building, FCG's, cemetery fences and columns and the same ol tombstones. Herman Secret has some great tutorials on skeleton hands and weathering tombstones.

What exactly are ya planning this year?

thank you for the welcomes. we are doing clown take over the bog of bodies this year. it's going to look like a circus tent crashed onto the house. people will walk into the tent and will go through some bend, there will be a pneumatic jack in the box with a scary clown face popping out. when they get to the door my wife will be dressed as an evil clown. they get their candy then i come from behind some shredded panels as another evil clown but with a chainsaw. it'll be good fun!

i'm moving the graveyard to the across my driveway, and it'll have clown artifacts in it like giant shoes, a stick with a polka dotted cloth pouch, an old briefcase with goofy stuff sticking out. the scarecrow will be "vandalized" with with clown makeup, wig and nose. where the graveyard normally is i'm going to make a cue line and my dad will be the usher with big clown hoop pants and a squirting flower on his shirt,

it's ambitious but doable. if i was able to make a spider den last year, i can do this! =D
