Thread: Just to let you know

Hi, I just wanted to let you know just in case you never think to take a peak at the literature category! I started a thread that was originally by HeadlessHorseman at another site since we all moved here I wanted to again bring back the fun of trying to post a poem a day until Halloween. I have posted several already Please contribute there are some awesome poets here and I just know whether you contribute or just come to read it will be alot of fun!!!

The thread is titled And now it Begins!! See you all there

That was a part of the forum that I never have been to since I became a member. Last week I just happened to stop in there & have a peek and was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful works in there!

See, spooky, now you got me pullin' out my skull (McBeth reference..sorry). I will have to try out my poetry skills. Please don't point and laugh too much, though.

I love it there in the literature section, I hope it gets a lot of attention! I really was spoiled starting last fall when some of my older forum friends began pouring out piece after piece of very memorable stuff. Can't wait to see what shows up here this season, and there are already some wonderful works to enjoy!

Rookie, we'd never laugh and point! (Not where you could see us, anyway) Hey, if I have the cajones to put my paltry poetry talent out there for the whole world to see, then you do, too my friend! I'm with Laurie S., so glad that spookyboo started that thread up again, it's a lot of fun, and a great showcase for our 'other' talents. See you there!!

I will have to check it out, although it will probably be just to read, I don't think I am much of a poet.

I'm sorry, I meant Hamlet. That shows you right there where my literary skills are at. (I even end sentences with prepositions)

Okay, I just submitted my first humble entry for our poetry thread...if I can do it, anyone can. C'mon, Rookie, cook up some words.

In my heart I believe that poetry comes from the soul....
so there is no such thing as bad poetry please everyone post there is no judging or laughing just alot of Halloween fun and expression in its sincerest form

I feel the magic beginning already!!!!
