Sleighbells is the largest Christmas store in the Northwest and they also have a HUGE Halloween room.
Here's a link to my photobucket album...

The website they DO have isn't exactly what it could be but here's the link for that...

I wasn't really sure where else to post this. Hey Larry, how about making a Halloween COLLECTIBLES forum for things like this. There are all kinds of dolls i.e. Barbie; Madame Alexander, etc. and things like Jim Shore and Bethany Lowe, Hallmark stuff, etc. That would be great!!!

Seriously, in need of a collectibles forum. I've got pics of the new Jim Shore, the new Hallmark line, I had pics of a bunch of new NBC stuff from Toy Fair but have to find them again. Michaels should be putting out their Halloween stuff in a couple of months. I come across a lot of stuff when scouting for Oz.

I could single-handedly double our credit card debt with one visit to that store....there's so much stuff!!! It'd take hours to check it all out!

We have a huge party store called the Party Tree around here that has Halloween Masks and costumes year round, but during the off season they have no other Halloween decorations. During Halloween we have 2 small stores that specialize in great Halloween Decorations, make-up, special effects and props, but way too expensive.
I've been wanting to open up a holiday type theme store, something that carries everything year round, Christmas on one side, Halloween on the other, as well as decorations for Thanksgiving, 4Th of July, St. Patty's day etc. etc. and just keep it open year round for people who want to buy stuff for their favorite holiday in the off season.
I think it would, or could be a good idea. Laurie's right, I could easily double my debt in a single trip also. Man, I'm jealous. I wanna goWhy rule the living when you can control the dead.

Those pics were just awesome. I could spend hours in there.

It's one of Succy's and my favorite places to to and just browse. And yes, you can spend hours there. I'll add the pics of the rest of the store I took that day, too. It really is quite a place.
There's another store here in this area that has Halloween stuff year round but, its mostly costumes and stuff. They don't have a website at all so this was the best I could come up with...
Halloween Warehouse
11465 SW Canyon Rd
Beaverton, OR 97005-2233
Phone: (503) 246-8909
You can Google it. I think they should have spelled it 'Werehouse' but, who am I?
There's another Christmas store that's open year 'round in Lincoln City, which is on the coast.
Welcome to the Christmas Cottage
Succy and I visit it every time we go down to our little love-nest in Bandon, OR.
That's actually how we found Sleighbells; on our way on a trip to the Oregon coast. She saw a sign for it and we looked it up on the net when we got back home.
They also make their own selection of gourmet fudges. I LOVE their orange and chocolate swirl. It looks VERY Halloweeny and it's SO delightful who cares if its not actually pumpkin. They DO make a pumpkin flavored fudge around the Halloween season (that's mid-Sept to the end of October for those who aren't of the REAL faith) but, it looks more like dried mustard. I wasn't able to try it because when we were there at that time they had just taken it out of the oven.
I'm tellin' ya, this place is just LOVE!

Funny how people think alike. OEJ and I were discussing a store like that because I get so frustrated looking for holiday stuff sometimes. When I'm in the mood for a certain holiday, I'm in the MOOD and that's when I want to shop. This year we didn't have a lot of money for Thanksgiving and I thought well, maybe we can do Thanksgiving in July and I'd decorate and everything.
The Halloween room at Sleighbells isn't huge. It's a decent sized and it seems huge because there is SO much stuff crammed in there. I swear the pics were taken on a light day. I've seen that place fuller. And I tell you what, you don't want to breathe in there. It's really tight. I'm a bit claustrophobic and I have to get out of there if there's more people than just OEJ and I. It's really easy to knock things over too if you aren't really careful. I wish they could add on to the building. They could do with a larger Halloween room and adding onto the store overall would be good cuz they could carry more product.

This sounds like a seriously dangerous place for me....but I'm so headed that way next week. Succub'Oz why don't you consider starting a collectibles group on the forum...like the one we have for Health and Fitness. We could go there to drool and dream.
