i just got done uploading mt 1996 pre haunt and my 1999 haunt. i now appreciate even more how much time and work that takes.

in 1996 i put out just a few toys and the kids went wild over them. in 1997, 1998, and 99, i put out everything i owned. sorry, i didn't think to take pictures till 1999. it would basically have been a lot of the same stuff repeated, just in different places with different themes. i was quite content just having a halloween showplace, but all the kids kept bugging me to have a scary haunt. so in 2000, i have my first haunt to scare.

so i just got done uploading 2000. this was one of my favorite years. it was most my family working. we did -a night is right gameshow. my mom and husband ran the scaredy cat room in the garage. my oldest sister sat at the door to the game show dressed as a witch [security gaurd] to keep kids in line and order. my grandson and her two granddaughters jumped out of the witches hut as kids passed by. her husband video taped. my 2nd sister was the head on the table [the last contestant who lost that we hadn't completly disposed of yet]. a bucket of heads and a body close by. my neice and my daughters friend as ma barkers ghastly ghouls. jimmy [a friend] as a contestent trying to sneak in. i, as ma barker, asked a halloween question, and if the contestants got it right they chose candy dish one, two, or three. but most got them wrong, then they had to go into the showcase doom room. my daughter dressed all in black jumped out at the kids and then handed them a poster. we even had an adopt a pet werewolf. i didn't show so much of the garage to you because most the pictures were the same as previous years, just placed differently

so i just got done uploading 2001. this year we did -Adventures in Spook Housing. if anyone saw the movie, adventures in babysitting, [i love that show] we did a take off from that. for the scene where the kids are taken to a car shop, we instead took the kids to dr. jankinsteins lab. the difference between dr. frankenstein and dr. jankinstein is, frankie worked on adults, jankie on kids. then we took the kids out on stage. here the crypt keeper told the kids they had to sing karoke to get a treat from the angry monsters. then instead of having their eyes poked out and being high up, we took them to the ravens nest. last we took them to the spiders web, where instead of being wrapped in fur coats, one was wrapped in the spider web. i will be downloading 2002 soon.

thanks frenchy, i am not so creative as some at making the wonderful props, but i have fun doing this way as well. the tot's love it.

after you click on the banner and the page pulls up, look to the left of page, there should be different choices there-1999, 2000 and so on. click on the year you want to see. it should pull up, see if that works for you

Kickin' job there, hallorenescene!! I wish we had that many pictures of our Halloween stuff...ah well...I'm gonna do it up right this year since I have y'all for motivation. I enjoyed your album, thanks for sharing it with us.

great, i can't wait to see what you put up for pictures! i didn't think to do pictures at first either. now i do them every year. i lack in taking pictures of my haunters. i swear every year i am going to take before and after pictures, then get so busy i get side tracked. the one year i remembered and asked did i get everyone. one little boy said yes. and when the pictures came back he wasn't in them. he won't do that again, hahaha, we took him down and repainted him and took his picture. his little brother called their mom on us and she said good, i want a picture. lol
