How do you blend in the edges of the latex that well?

When i make the appliance i keep the the blending edge site very thin (one coat patted on with finger) so when i put a layer of latex on there thats all that is needed instead of multiple layers for blending. BTW the first two are made with nose and scar wax.

I especially liked the cut across the wrist.
