Yea!
Got my PhotoBucket straightened out!
Get to finally share my pics from 2007!
I had emergency surgery on October 25th, so Hubby and our youngest son with his girl friend set up a display in the front yard with some of our stuff. I directed them in what to put where, but they created some props and scenes on their own that came out great! I was so proud of them and the results!
I did far too much for only being out of the hospital for 5 days and had to keep being told to stop and to sit down and rest! It was so hard! I just couldn't help myself. On Halloween, at about 1pm I broke down in tears from both frustration and relief when our son came by to help. I was so exhausted, sick and weak. It was probably stupid to even attempt, but I'm pretty bullheaded and couldn't imagine not having decorations out for the TOTs. (I feel the same about Christmas and the 4th of July, too! Wink Grin)
Enjoy!
(there are 5 short 3-5 second videos of the shadow boxes and hanging cage with the strobes if you go to the left of the pictures)

Thanks! Our Yew loves to get into the action! Those hands are clothes hanger wire covered with masking tape and spray painted with GID paint. I just hook the hanger hook over a branch inside the bush.

WOW! You've got some cool stuff. I bet the kids love your yard in October. I couldn't notice that you've been to the Mighty 8th Museum. I love that place. It's about 2 miles from my house.

That was our first time to the Museum, it was awesome! I have a bunch of Savannah pics to load. We got some ghosty stuff in a couple of closed shops but nothing in the graveyard except great pics of tombstones.
We always do historical stuff on our trips. Last year we went to Ironstock, but stopped at the Patton museum in Ft. Knox on the way!
That wasn't all of my Halloween stuff, just what got put out in the limited amt of time we had. I have a pretty good size graveyard (check out the pics from '06) but my old tombstones need serious work. Recoating, sealing and painting that I need to buy some drylock for, just don't want to drop the $100 for the 5 gallon bucket yet. But it will get done this year! I also have a Frankenbucky that I haven't used yet. 2008 is going to be awesome!
I have several parents that tell me they can't wait to see what we've done or that they save our house for last so that they can see it in the dark. That means a lot to me. We have kids TOT after 9, even up to 10pm for the teens. I leave my lights and stuff on 'til 11 or later just to sit and enjoy it that last little bit myself.
