Ok i need a fogger for my fog chiller and im torn between the V-930T and the V-940. Does anybody have experience with either of these or both? Just wondering if there is much of a difference between the two as far as fog output/timer functions and so forth, and if its worth the extra money to get the V-940? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, for only a $30 difference, why not go with the V-940. It's advertised at 7,000 cfm @ 1,000W, vs. the V-930 at 5,000 cfm @ 1,000W. However, always take the output claims with a grain of salt.

Conversely, for about $80 more, get the V-950, and run with the big boys. I have the V-950, and have not regretted it. They cost $249-$259. 20,000 cfm @ 1,300W. Furthermore, the V-950 has continuous and variable fogging capability that the 930 or 940 don't have.

When you boil it down, get the best you can afford, and stay with the well-known names.

The company is VEI (Visual Effects, Inc).

These foggers are in high demand and they don't make many of them, so buy early.

Personally, I prefer Chauvet, but everyone has their own preferences.

Fogger threads are common here, and a search will probably yield more than you care to read . IMO, stick with the better known brands (Antari - $$$, Martin - $$$, Chauvet - $$, V.E.I. - $$). All these companies offer reasonably priced models, in addition to their "high-end" stuff. On the other hand, if you're just doing small, enclosed affairs, a $29.99 "novelty" fogger might suit you just as well.

I went with a VEI V-950 because it offered a lot of the features of more expensive fog machines, for almost half the price. I won't go into the particulars; the specifications are on the manufacturers' websites.

Address your needs, do some research, and buy the best you can afford.

Thanks guys. I actually have a V-950 I use for my entire yard and your right, that fogger ROCKS! And as much as I would LOVE to get another one, I just dont think I need that kind of power and output for just my fog chiller, at least not for that kind of money. I just use the chiller for my cemetary. The rest of my haunt is covererd using the V-950 for just that eery foggy look. It pretty much covers my whole street through out the night..lol But thanks for the advice CBUSROG, your right, I should just go ahead and spend the extra 30 bucks or so and get the better of the two. Thanks again guys!
