This thread was originally OEJ's (One Eye'd Jack's) idea, but I thought it worth revisiting to get some more opinions--hope ya don't mind, OEJ ;-).......I'll kick it off with a few here.....

The girl from The Ring and the guy from Poltergeist still freak me out everytime I look at them. The one from The Grudge gives me the creeps, too!

Here's my vote. From The Evil Dead. Scared the crap out of me the first ten times I saw it.

Speaking of ones that scared the crap out of a person the first ten times they saw it, here's one of mine..



Oh man, this seriously disturbed me as a kid.....I stopped looking as soon as Indy told Marion to keep her eyes shut--soon as that ark was opened, man..

How about the Grady twins from the original The Shining. Those two girls freaked me out when I was younger watching that movie! Very creepy.

Also, any of the creature creation images from John Carpenter's, The Thing.
