Sure, last I knew there was aprox 120(give or take) e-mails sent in for the contest.
Once it is closed we will check all entries then start to discuss the names.
This contest is very important to us as I want the best name for our moscot, thus is why I want to make sure all get a chance at this and we can can give this guy the best name suited for him.

The names will not be reviewed by us untill the contest closes, so if you entered on day one or the last day...all and any names are in for considertation, at which point we will review them and start to pick the name best fiited......the name hopefull will be chosen within a week of contest end date.

OK...well after many hours going threw all the entries...we have it down to about three names right now.
We have been going throw to check any duplicate entries that may have been entered and who has entered first with those names.
I do have to say.....some very creative names were submitted.

Well after many name entries, aprox. 120 of them, our Mascot has been named.
After going threw all the entries and weeding threw them all, which was not an easy task,
We have decided to name him:

Scoop Tellington…..the name “scoop” was submitted a few times in various formats,
We have chosen this one as it was also the first entered and we liked the last name as well.

There were many great names submitted and I thank you all for entering.

CONGRATULATIONS TO:

Bob Dane of Salinas Ca.

Bob choose the name Scoop Tellington as he fells Scoop is always the first to get the story, he is diligent in "digging" up the news of home haunters and is always happy to tell us about the latest news from our favorite past time.

Bob, Scoop thanks you very much for his name and as well as the great companies who have donated the prizes
