Looking for opinions, which chainsaw is best to use in a haunt? Electric or gas, I used a gas in the last one but Im thinking of switching to a electric because the gas fumes nearly knocked me out. Either way , it scares the hell out of people.....![]()

If you use electric, where do you hide the cord?

Gas with out the blade, just use a smaller one.

The thing I like about gas chiansaws is that guests can smell the fumes and gives them that feel of forboding and they know its coming but dont know when.
Can you stake my heart?

I've used both electric and gas. There are pluses and minuses for each. The Gas ones (well at least the one I used) can have trouble getting them started when you need to chase after some people. The Electric is ready to go at a moments notice, but if you chase after them too far, you either come unplugged, or darn near kill yourself when you get to the "end of the line".
I would say though, for the scare factor, gas rules, electric drools.

yeah, fumes add to the chainsaw experience. Or, if you're close enough, exhaust blasting on thier back/legs/whathave you does as well.

I would have to say Gas, it just seems scarier!!!

Gas rules in that scenario. Maybe just use chainsaw noises blasting thru speakers otherwise.
I guess electric chainsaws are as scary as a kitchenaid blender.
