Thread: scariest places on earth

ok I was watching this show and I thought this is either for real or it is a brilliant haunted attraction. The first thing that sets me off is that the guy tells all these stories of ghosts murders and the like and send these people that are already freaked out by the stories into these places that are supposidly haunted. With the mind wandering from the stories they are made to go alone on little misisons to look for paranormal proof.


I don't know looks like a bunch of crap to me rates right up there with the other one on the travel channel with the annoying english lady saying everything is haunted. Me personally the only one I like is ghost hunters at least they try to debunk the claims instead of agreeing that a certain place is haunted. just my rant for tonight

at least the ghost hunters actually caught some pretty creepy stuff on tape

I havnt watched "most haunted" in a while. I love the halloween show though. Allthough Ghost hunters creeps me out. Like the one time when they got that thermal immage of some one standing right in front of them!! Ahh so creepy!! And than when they stayed at the hotel from the shining..that was just plain creepy the thing with the closet door and the glass breaking...*shuders*. I like the one when they went to Ireland and they went to that castle and they caught a face on the camera. I thought that face was going to eat me. I love ghost shows!

I can't watch most haunted anymore. It seems so fake. Don't even get me started on Mr. Earring who spends his free time being possessed.

Never liked Most Haunted.
Too fakey.

With "Scariest Places" I'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish.
Tell people a scary story then put them inside, at night and lock the place up and see what happens.
It might not be fakey, but the outcome is no suprise.

Ghost Hunters is better, they approach each place with an open mind and try to find a logical explaination for what they catch on tape.


They don't try to influence the viewer with BS.

I swear my hair stood on end when I saw that! It was the soldier by the locker right? What about when Jason and Grant were walking down that hallway with the thermal imaging camera on and that shape ran across the end? Eeeeeee!

Scariest place?
That's easy... the dentist's office!

True, that freakin camera in SPOE gives me a headache...it's all ya really see !
