    What a cool question.

Movie: can't narrow it down to one.
Story: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (even working on a miniature Sleepy Hollow display)
Trick: Scaring someone with a fake story they think is true
    Treat: Chocolate!!!!
Costume: The best I ever saw was an Alien (from the movie "Alien") at a sci-fi convention. It looked exactly like one from the movie - from head to toe!
Haunt: Can't pick one, but I like "real" haunted locations
Party/Attraction: Hallowscream at Wyandot Lake in Columbus Ohio
Activity: Going anywhere in costume or anywhere spooky
    Symbol: Headless Horseman, owls, jack-o-lanterns

I haven't posted here for a little while (life got the best of me but this was such a cool thread, I couldn't NOT reply!

    Movie: Hocus Pocus
Story: The legend of the Blair Witch or any kind of based on truth ghost story
    Trick: "Props" coming to life
Treat: Nerds, pixie stix and other sour candies! Also.. peanut butter cups RULE!
Costume: Anything really OTT with attention to detail - I saw someone in full Optimus Prime get-up once and was in awe!
Haunt: We don't really get many over here in the UK... I suppose the closest I've even been to a haunt is the spooky ride "Hex" in Alton Towers *blushes*

Activity: Getting dressed up, carving pumpkins, decorating the house, making the party food... it's all amazing fun!
    Symbol: The Jack O' Lantern
"Lofty timbers, the walls around are bare, echoing to our laughter as though the dead were there."
