Wow. The Michigan Tech University Winter Carnival theme this year was Frightful Creatures with Chilling Features.

The students have outdone themselves. But then I say it every year. Wish I could see these in person.

Unbelievable! I especially liked the Hearse (of course) and the Church with it's fence. There's a winter carnival in McCall Idaho and I saw on TV a giant skull with a top hat, but nothing compares to these students accomplishments. Thanks, michigal!

Breckenridge has their Ice Festival and I always wondered about how frustrating it must be to create such beautiful works, knowing that they shall soon be destroyed and all you have left is photos and frostbite..

Thats pretty amazing. The time that goes into that im sure is a lot.
