I, WOULD, LOVE THIS!!! Oh, that looks like so much fun!! I actually went to one of these at a place called Dave and Buster's in Marietta, GA, years ago, had a BLAST!! (***Hmmmm, me thinks this could be worth the drive one evening, hurhurhurhur****) Don't know if my husband would go for it or not, I might have to make some kind of deal with him.

I used to go to that D&B all the time, the wife and I still go about once per year.
I used to live off the Marietta Loop and worked down off Cumberland.

That's a cool thing to know about ya, wilbret, that there are two of us halloweenforum.com members who've haunted the same D&B
. Have you lived in GA all your life?....I graduated from Kennesaw State University, and we spent many 'o hour at D&B during that time inbetween classes (when I SHOULD have been studying, no doubt
). Ah well-- it all worked out in the end.

Lived in GA for all but about 4 years of my life. Lived in Seattle and thought I'd never leave, but the dotcom burst sent me packing back here at the end of 2001. That's how I ended up in Columbus.
I am actively looking to get out, though. No jobs, and it's boring. Both my family and wife's families are here in GA, but I have gypsy in me, or so my mom tells me. We are looking for either a coastal or mountain town.

We have these running in the Philadelphia area every month. I've gone a number of times. It's actually great fun.
The basic premise is that there are 6-8 characters that act the parts, with frequent ad-libs with the audience. At the end, they ask everyone to write down who did it, how, and why. They then look at the papers turned in and find a winner of some prize (typically a bottle of wine). You'd *think* the actors would know who the culprit was, and just pick someone who got the right guy. But, Nooooooo... They actually read the various explanations and choose the most outlandish, and sometimes impossible, solution. Unlike Periot and Miss Marple, who pull clues out of the air at the end that tie it all together, the lack of clues is no hinderance to the solution of the mystery. In one case, the deceased's cat killed her. Of course, the cat was only mentioned in passing, and the motive was that the deceased had planned to leave all her money to it. That the children of the deceased each individually had motive and opportunity, and the crooked lawyer and doctor were with her at the time of her death is immaterial to a good laugh.

Man, I would love one of these here. I ahve been doing these from my home for years now... though it has been all friends and family invites. This would be really fun with people you dont know very well. Thanks for the link!!
