This was my first year decorating so I started with the basics: graveyard, fog, music, bat flying on the flag pole, grim reaper looking out the window, and a casket. I hope to add a little more each year.

I have not been on this site in a month or so but I'm glad I thought to come back...great props for a FIRST haunt good job!

way to go on the cemetary. every household should have its own plot. one will find it easier to get rid of unwanted guests that way.

Wow, I can't wait to see your haunt after you've been at it for a few years, man...it's guaranteed that you already grabbed your neighbor's attentions with your first try. Did you make that casket? I like the bones 'escaping' from under the fence as well.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I made the casket. The lid of the casket was made out of old pallets I got out of the dumpster at work and the bottom and sides are plywood. The fence is just painted pvc. I was disappointed with the turn out Halloween night though. This was our first year at our house and I expected a lot more. We had less than 10 TOTers. Next year I am planning on setting up at a friends house. They average over a 100 TOTers.

Have you considered giving your house another try? Each year our attendance grows along with our yard display & word of mouth spreads. This year we had 60 ToT's.

i agree with jackie. i would give your house another try. word of mouth has gotten around. my first year in a new location i barely had kids show up. the next year we stood at the end of the street and talked to people. after that i was having a couple of hundred. i love what you have done. the webbing gives me shivers and the skeleton is a riot. maybe some eerie lighting or background music? can't wait to see more of what you come out with..

Keep at it, not only will your TOT's grow as word gets out, but you just might give the neighbors the Halloween bug as we did in our neighborhood.
