Smile Florida

Hiya Guys & Girls,

I am going to Orlando on the 2nd of February for 2 weeks holiday (It's my sons 4th birthday on the 6th, and we always said to him that we would take him to see Mickey Mouse when he was 4).

Anyway back to the all important question, can anyone reccomend anywhere in orlando where I can view/buy halloween props, equipment etc.

Thanks

Graham

You are going to have fun! The good news is that the parks won't be very crowded and the better news is that it won't be hot.

As far as where you can get stuff, I know there is a poster here somewhere who lives in Orlando; they would definitely know where the good stuff is.

If you want stuff from the parks themselves, the store where the Pirates of the Caribbean ride lets out has some neat pirate related stuff and there is a little cart right outside the Haunted Mansion. I'm really surprised that Disney hasn't put up a Haunted Mansion store over the years, but I'm still hoping!

Hope your little guy loves it!

Thanks for the replies.

Yes Kallie Euro Disney is sooo much closer, however weather is not as good, parks are not as big & it is cheaper in Florida than in Paris.

Default Halloween stuff in Florida

I can't really think of much. If your into electronics and surplus junk, you will find interesting things at Skycraft on Fairbanks Avenue (close to Interstate 4). Check out their website.http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/

I say drive a stake threw the Mouse’s heart! Though, as much as I hate the “Magic” Kingdom, I will give them this that I actually saw a Goofy cartoon at the movie theater the other day that was cool. First time in eons I’ve seen a cartoon before a feature.

Have fun!

Gotta love Disney! I used to perform at Epcot.. it's an awesome place. Although, I frequent Universal Studios. Gotta have the annual pass if you live in FL.

For Halloween stuff, there is always Spirit Halloween as Victor-eyd recommended. Unfortunately, the Halloween stores here are all seasonal. There was a Halloween Express store on Sand Lake Road in Orlando, directly across from the Florida Mall this past year. But I believe that was seasonal too.

For attractions on a side note, Skull Kingdom on International Drive is open all year round. http://www.skullkingdom.com/

Happy vacationing!
