Hey I was just wondering...I have LED lites this year for my Xmas lites...white mostly and they make the old mini lites next door look the color of urine...anyway, I could not find any big amount of LED's for Halloween. Has anyone seen um?

Hard to find LEDs for Halloween in long lengths. I did find some online in Halloween-y colors, but not cheap. Check out the Christmas light websites, they will have a Halloween section.

Target had LED lights in orange and purple for Halloween, but that was it. I did see some purple ones mixed in with the Christmas lights at our store last week...so snoop around like I did and you might come across some!

This place also has some Halloween colored LED lights as well. I've bought from them in the past and they are a great company to purchase from!

They also have some great sales throughout the year!
I came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. I'm all out of bubble gum.

The problem with lights I saw at Target and Michaels, etc... was they were only 60 lights or less. That would get pretty expensive.

I used LED spotlight bulbs (from ebay) this year and I loved the amont of light and colors.
I even bought a few UV and they worked pretty well for large props.

    noahbody,

Call me stupid but the only LED 120vac bulbs I've found are white light. Granted I haven't looked very hard but I would be very interested if they can be had in colors like blue and red? If so what price can you expect to pay?

Thanks for all the tips! Yeah they do have em in Halloween orange and purple colors...but damm they are expensive most places. Target sold white ones for xmas in a string of 60 for about 8 or 9 bucks...Walmart was about the same. Paying 22 bucks or more for a colored string of 70 seems out of line to me. Hopefully they will come down in price. The white ones are really nice for xmas and have a cool white feel to them like snow. I have red ones too for my Noel sign....that is a circular sign with a red circle and slash thru it (international symbol for "No") and then a green letter "L" in the center....NO+L = Noel. The leds are nice cuz they are cool to the touch and the color seems pretty good....just wish they were not quite so pricey at some places.

They are avaiable in red, green, blue, UV, and color changing.
They kill you on the shipping, that said I am getting them at about $12 each.
The advantage is they last longer, use less electricity, and put off less heat.

    Try 110v led bulb

    noahbody,

Thanks for the advice! I go through a couple blue floods a year not from the bulb burning out but from the blue lens coating burning off. Where do you score your bulbs, ebay?
