    Hi all,

it's a long time ago, I posted the last time, but in the meantime I got my second child and now my days and nights are too short. But I shortly want to tell you about our Horrible Advent Calendar. Last year we started with this special Advent Calendar for all those, celebrating Halloween every month of the year.

Now we finished our second Calendar:

Have fun :-) and a scary advent time.

    silcrest,

    Great Calender.

Have you heard about the Hamburg, Germany Advent calender that includes a photo of their famous local serial killer? I read about it on a blog somewhere last week. It shows him coming out from around a tree trunk waving a meat cleaver...lol. Here is the blog where I read about it:

oh, oh Dr. Z, i almost understood what you said! i think you said

"you are german too. i have forgotten my german."

oh, i hope that i am right. i loved german so much in HS and my best friend speaks it fluently and believe it or not, i am a very good german speaker when i am drunk! i got the oppertunity to visit germany when i was 16 and it was the most amzing thing ever! i lived Baden-Wurtemburg for 2 weeks with a german family and it was great. i still can't believe that i did it!

    ich leibe deutschland!

It's exactly what I said Kallie, You are not so bad in German. That's great, now we have a secret language ! I really love Germany & German people too. I went to Berlin and Stuttgart when I was in High School. I'm planning to work there for a couple of months.

I was stationed in Germany for 18 months during 1976 and 1977 at Kitzingen. I had learned some basic German, but 30 years without using it I have forgotten all but some basic words.
