I am looking for ideas for creatures from Greek Mythology to put into next years haunt. So far,I have 'Charon' On my River Styx,a Cyclops, and Medusa. Can any of you think of some other creatures that I may be able to do with just a costume and some makeup and simple props? Any ideas will really help.

Have you ever watched the movie Clash of the Titans (starring a very young Harry Hamlin)? It might be a great resource for ideas. How about the Stygian Witches. They are three blind witches who share an eyeball that they pass around so they can see. Three blind witches clustered around a cauldron could make a pretty awesome prop....just a thought.

Cerebus (sp?) the 3 headed dog that guarded Hades, which is where Styx led.
Harpies winged women I think they were like vengeful women or something
blind fortune tellers / seers, maybe in the intro spot starting the story?
And don't forget a Dragon, everyone needs at least one dragon

For a sound track you could have "Don't pay the ferryman" from some 80's group.Later
Dragon aka troy

satyrs-they can look quite menacing since the devil is modeled after them.

I don't know the English name, but there are those women that cut the wire of life... (Clotho, Lachésis & Atropos)

Yes, the Fates cut the thread, but it was the Gorgons that had the 1 eye between them. Their sister was Medusa.
This is a tremendous undertaking for a haunt! I think it will look amazing."He has my father's eyes."
"Gomez, take those out of his mouth!"
