Hey guys.
So I have decided that I should spread Halloween with another holiday, being Christmas. Nightmare Before Xmas kinda beat me to it but I thought that I would take a stab at it.
I have a medium amount of Christmas lights. And a lot of Halloween Props.
Now, I don't want to just have a Halloween display, but rather a Christmas Display but filled with happy haunts. Just like Nightmare Before Xmas. I'm not sure if I could actually theme it that way, or if I should do something more original.
If you guys have any ideas, for props or signage or other stuff that could go out in front, let me know!
Thanks in advance!

Dress up any dummies, flying bats, and pumpkins with Santa hats, decoate a dead tree with Christmas lights and tinsel, A sign that says"May visions of Christmas HAUNT your dreams".You could carve pumpkins to spell "Merry Christmas".Have skeletons holding or exchanging gifts. How about tombstones with "Scrooge" or 'Christmas Past" written on them. Basically, just look at your props and think Christmas.I do hope you'll post pictures!!!!
Who truly knows what awaits us in the night?

You basically want to do what I did for Halloween this year, whenb holidays collide

I bought lots of stuff at Walmart 80% off las tyear and used this year. My wife actually said we could keep stuff up for Christmas, but then decided to take all down, even the orange and white Christmas lights we had up.
Its amazing what stockings and Sanat hats will do to a Halloween prop.
Have fun with it!!

Good luck! Hope it turns out well.
I leave my mini butler out all year and for Christmas he wears an elf hat and I wrap his candy bowl with Christmas paper.

Last year I put a santa hat and beard on a skeleton reaper I had, and put him up, along with a scythe that I wrapped in lights. Several days of rain has kept me from doing it this year...I plan to add a sign saying "We wish you a scary christmas". I don't have the budget to do it right now, but was thinking of getting some of the lit up reindeer that move their heads and making them grotesque with corpsing. I passed up a few at a yard sale 2 weeks ago, but its also storage room...I am out of it. If I were to take it full bore, at least 4 deer and a small sleigh to hold the reaper....

Oh, Santa with corpsed deer! Instead of traditional toys, my dream Santa would have Teddy Scares, Living Dead Dolls, Zombabies, some limbs, cauldrons, poison jars, etc. in his bag.
And I would dress Frosty up with an axe instead of a broom....
I'm sorry, my coffee has me on overdrive"He has my father's eyes."
"Gomez, take those out of his mouth!"

I have decorated my 6' skeleton with a Santa hat...and I'm attempting to make a skeleton snowman with pvc bones...I know...snowmen don't have bones...but I'm trying to make it fun. I also have 3 or 4 small 2-3' tall skeletons...I'm making them skeleton elves carrying presents. Some of the presents have body parts hanging out of them.
Why rule the living when you can control the dead.
