Our yard haunt usually consists of various lighted plastic figures I've collected over the years as well as some string lights, Halloween "caution" tape and repro Beistle die cuts on the storm door but this year we this year we put the daughter's first car (1961 Plymouth) in the mix.

The pirate in the pictures is actually my daughter BTW !

Only the teen-tiniest of spooks get scared in our yard but everyone seems to like the display.

All were pointing to a certain passage, and every face seemed so distorted with
epileptic and reverberant laughter that I almost thought I heard the fiendish echoes.
The title of the picture was, 'Holmes, Lowell and Longfellow Lie Buried in Mount Auburn.'

It looks great! Personally, the Beistle diecuts (even repros) are my favorite Halloween decorations.

I like your “G-rated” haunt! It’s all about what makes you happy doing it and if everyone liked it then it was a success! And your daughter makes a great looking pirate!

Our haunt was very "G-rated" this year as well and it was fun for a change to not have to try and figure out to scare anyone...to just decorate how we liked!

I love yours, I think it turned out wonderfully! And you have the perfect front yard for any kind of haunt too...nice and big!

(Your daughter looks adorable in those pictures and congrats to her on her first car! )
I came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. I'm all out of bubble gum.
